Final Fantasy XIV

In some more exciting news for the PlayStation 5, the developer of Final Fantasy XIV has announced it will appear on the platform as an open beta on April 13th.

Square-Enix released a short teaser trailer for the game working with 4K resolution and better load times and frame rates.

The new edition will allow anyone who registered in the PS4 version of the game the ability to play it for no extra cost during the beta period.

The other good news about the game is that it will also be getting a new expansion pack entitled Endwalker.

The expansion pack is going to center around the climax of the story about Hydaelyn and Zodiark where Warriors of Light come across dramatic events on their lengthy journey.

Endwalker will also play an important role for MMO and allow game players a place for new adventures on the new platform.

These releases mark another important step for Final Fantasy XIV.

The game received a great deal of backlash after its initial release in 2010 and actually saw its producer and director step away from it.

In 2012, the developer even shut down its servers, although the game was eventually relaunched in 2013 as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Nearly a full decade later, the latest rendition should excite any fans of the classic franchise. Stay tuned here for more updates as they come in.
