What woman doesn’t want to feel beautiful? Some might get a new outfit or change their hairstyle. Others choose to enhance their looks by wearing makeup. Whether you’re a novice at beauty or you’ve been focusing on your appearance for years, here are a few tips that you can put into motion each day that can change your life.

No Facials

Before any special event, such as your wedding, avoid getting a facial or any laser treatment on the face. These treatments can make the skin red or irritated before an event where you want to look your best. Any facial treatment should be done about a month before the event if you don’t want to use exfoliating products at home.

Brighter Teeth

For any event or just to have brighter teeth, there are a few things that you can do aside from going to the dentist. Consider trays that you can put gel in as these sit in the mouth for a certain amount of time while whitening the teeth. Strips that go over the teeth are an option as well. As with facial treatments, you want to begin about a month before the event so that you can see a difference in the brightness of your teeth.

Vitamins

Start changing how your body looks from the inside out. Take a multivitamin each day in the morning. You should also consider taking an iron supplement during the course of your menstrual cycle. Folic acid and vitamins D and B can help with keeping the skin clear and making the hair and nails stronger. Most multivitamins have everything that you need in them, but some products have additional levels of the vitamins that you might need.

Wash Your Hands

Throughout the day, you might touch your face without even realizing what you’re doing. Wash your hands routinely during the day to keep the oil on them to a minimum. If you plan on showing off any jewelry, such as an engagement ring, then consider getting a manicure so that your nails have a beautiful glow. Apply sunblock to your hands as well, which is something that many people don’t think about when they go outside.

Moisturize

To keep the skin soft and youthful, moisturize it on a daily basis. Use the moisturizer on the face and hands as well as on the abdomen to help with stretch marks. Find products with AHA ingredients in them as they aren’t as harsh on the skin as other acidic products.
