Bye-Bye Hawkins
The “Stranger Things” creators and showrunners have inked a new Netflix multi-year film and series deal that sources say is worth nine figures according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Netflix has dropped its first teaser trailer for the nostalgic sci-fi series next season.
The teaser doesn’t feature any of the Stranger Things’ characters or interdimensional monsters but it does emphasize the Upside Down and it states the next adventure may take place beyond the small Indiana town of Hawkins. Stranger Things has become larger than life and leaving Hawkins gives the show the ability to reach new heights and further expand its retro 80’s universe.
No word yet on a release date for Stranger Things 4 but Matt and Ross Duffer (The Duffer Brothers) has signed a multi-year deal to produce an unspecified number of series and films for the studio. So fans can expect much more from the brotherly duo in the very near future!
