pokemon go gen 5

Here’s Where To Find Them

Gen 5 has arrived in Pokémon GO, like previous generations the new Pokémon are being released in waves. So that means we have a limited selection of creatures available for the moment, but there will be more to come as the year goes on, with the next drop probably arriving around Halloween.

Let’s jump into what we now know about Gen 5 Pokémon spawns and hatches:

Global Wild Spawns: This includes a lot of the Pokémon announced as egg exclusives, as well as evolved forms of other Pokémon. If a Pokémon can be evolved from a wild Pokémon but not caught in the wild, it will include it in italics.

Regionals: These remain unchanged from the press release, so here those are again. Interestingly, the Western/Eastern Hempishphere divide seems different than usual, with Durant being reported in Western Spain.

  • Asia-Pacific: Pansage, the Grass Monkey Pokémon, evolves to Simisage
  • Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: Pansear, the High Temp Pokémon, evolves to Simisear
  • The Americas and Greenland: Panpour, the Spray Pokémon, evolves to Simipour
  • Western hemisphere: Heatmor, the Anteater Pokémon
  • Eastern hemisphere: Durant, the Iron Ant Pokémon

Eggs: Again, these are unchanged from the launch list. Hatch rates seem to be pretty low.

  • 2 km Eggs: Patrat, Lillipup, Purrloin, Pidove
  • 5 km Eggs: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Blitzle, Drilbur, Foongus
  • 10 km Eggs: Ferroseed, Klink, Litwick, Golett, Deino

Raids: These include Patrat and Lillipup at Tier 1, both of which are available as shiny, as well.

The only Raid exclusive is Klink, which does not appear in the wild but will evolve into Klang and then Klinklang. Klink is also available as a shiny.
