one more thing event

Tech giant Apple just announced yet another event they are calling a “One More Thing” event for November 10th at 10 AM PST.

The rumor is that the event will be an announcement from the company about its Arm-based Macs which is referred to as Apple Silicon.

These are the new chips that will be in computers as opposed to the Intel processors that have been in place since 2005.

The use of the words “One More Thing” have been a staple in the Apple lexicon for years, as former CEO Steve Jobs would often use it in many of his big keynote speeches. Jobs would use it to hype up the final product to an already excited audience.

The company sent out an email earlier in the day also saying the event would be broadcasted from Apple Park and will be able to be watched online at Apple.

The initial announcement to switch from Intel processors to the new Apple Silicon ones was made back in June.

The company maintains it will have better performance while using less power than the Intel units.

The other product that is rumored to be announced at this event is the macOS 11 Big Sur. This operating system has already been in beta for months and this is likely Apple’s final opportunity to unroll it before the end of the year.

This is the third Apple event in just a few months.

The company unveiled its Apple One bundles along with new Apple Watches and iPads in September, and most recently its latest iPhones and other audio devices in mid- October.

Be sure to stay tuned here for further updates after the event happens on November 10th.
