What is Elon Musk Buying Next? Twitter? Roblox? McDonalds?!?

Sometimes we fantasize about changing the world in some way. Someone might fantasize about controlling the cryptocurrency price fluctuations while being given a chance with another who would think of global famine, climate change, and more. Some businesspeople are so influential that they are capable of changing the world easily.

Take the case of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and possibly the wealthiest man on the planet.

The multi-billionaire businessman verbalizes his thoughts and occasionally comes up with a good solution. And all that most people could be a thing is what motivates them to invest and what they might acquire next.

The Coca-Cola and McDonald’s

It is safe to assume that anything Musk tweets should be taken lightly. On the forum, Musk often makes light of serious matters. But after his Twitter bargain, that principle is being questioned by many.

Musk recently stated that he plans to “put cocaine back into it” by purchasing Coca-Cola. In addition, he wants to work for McDonald’s so that he can “repair [their] ice cream equipment.” Yes, the second option would be fantastic.

Furthermore, Twitter users generally appear to agree with both points. Up to five million people liked the Coca-Cola tweet, but only three million liked the McDonald’s post.

Then, others jumped in with their unique ideas for how Musk could best utilize his possible McDonald’s purchase in his quest to eradicate global hunger.

Twitter Purchase

Musk, who had a 9.2% passive ownership in Twitter as of April 25, 2022, made an offer to acquire the firm for US$44 billion. The announcement of the arrangement shocked the world. Most people could not believe it until they saw it in action.

The deal was met with skepticism from investors and fear among Twitter’s workforce. However, Musk was enthusiastic about it.

After all, he had planned how he wanted Twitter to appear. He stated his intentions to make Twitter better than ever by improving the platform with new features.

Musk noted his vision of making the algorithms open source to promote trust, overcome spam bots, and authenticate all humans.

By abandoning a censorship policy and boosting the cause of free speech, he hopes to realize Twitter’s full potential.

A Securities and Exchange Commission filing verified a Bloomberg report that Musk had suggested in a letter to Twitter.

Based in San Francisco, Twitter confirmed receipt of the letter and stated it plans to close the acquisition at the previously agreed-upon price but did not elaborate on how it plans to respond to Musk.

Purchase of Roblox

Even though Roblox would cost significantly less than what he proposed for Twitter, Musk has stated that he has no plans to acquire the company.

On the other hand, Twitter seems like a more natural fit for Musk to buy. He has been using Twitter to promote himself and Tesla and is increasingly involved in politics.

After seeing Donald Trump’s success with his social media network, Musk has been thinking about doing the same.

Importantly, Roblox founder David Baszucki owns Class B shares of the company, which entitle him to 20 votes per share. Any attempt to purchase Roblox would require his consent, given his substantial voting power, and he shows no signs of relinquishing control.

The Man United takeover

When Elon Musk announced that he would buy the struggling Premier League club, it seemed like the best Christmas ever to the club’s dejected fans.

Forbes estimates Musk’s net worth at $270 billion, and he just revealed on social media that he intends to purchase the club from the Glazer family.

That promise must have been like music to the ears of the struggling United supporters. Before the home match against Liverpool, who defeated them 5 against 0 at Old Trafford and 4 against 0 at Anfield last season, fans plan to stage another protest against the club owners.

Considering that United’s first two games under new manager Erik ten Hag ended in defeat, it is easy to see why people are skeptical.

United fans are not exactly excited about the next match against Jurgen Klopp’s team, who have yet to win this season. Conversely, Elon Musk’s tweet about buying Man United was only a prank.

Indeed, it is not a good sign when you have to clarify to your 103.4 million followers that you were only trying to make a joke, as Musk had to do. Musk’s hilarious social media posts often revolve around the idea of him taking over existing sports establishments.
