Lastly, the success of the brand is driven by the Fashion Nova founder Richard Saghian, who tends to stay out of the press and let his clothes do most of the talking. When he has talked to the press, he has expressed that his initial feelings about the launch of his website were fearful. The reason behind the fear? The Instagram account that was made for the site only had 60,000 followers at the time. Today, Fashion Nova’s Instagram follower count has 12.8 million followers! This shows the masses of individuals that Fashion Nova is reaching just with one social media platform. 

Fashion Nova also features #NovaBabes on their page which features their own customers wearing their clothes. This is a great way to make consumers feel engaged with the brand (and to help their follower count!).
