Super Bowl LIV was certainly one for the books!

The Kansas City Chiefs tromped the San Francisco 49ers 31 to 20 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, but the game itself was not the only spectacle.

Many viewers tuned in to catch Jennifer Lopez and Shakira during the halftime show while others were in it for the now-traditional Super Bowl commercials, which are known for being the best advertisements ever produced.

While dozens of commercials were aired, some were definitely better than others, and armchair critics from around the country will be discussing them for weeks to come.

The following are the top five most memorable commercials from the Super Bowl.

1. Bill Murray’s Groundhog Day Jeep Ad

Since Super Bowl LIV was played on Groundhog Day, Jeep’s ad features Bull Murray, accompanied by his groundhog companion, reprising his role from the popular movie of the same name.

This was far and away from the most popular of this year’s Super Bowl commercials.

2. Google Pulls at the Heartstrings

Google decided to get emotional with its premium Super Bowl commercial wherein a senior man relies on Google to help him remember special moments about his deceased wife, Loretta.

Google has revealed that the man in the photo is the grandfather of an employee, and the company used actual moments and facts from their lives.

3. Scout the Dog Encourages Donations Thanks to WeatherTech

While Google’s ad was sad through and through, WeatherTech gave us a Super Bowl commercial with a happy ending.

This one is about Scout, the CEO’s beloved Golden Retriever that was suffering from cancer.

In the ad, David MacNeil, who is also the founder of the company, gives thanks for the treatment provided by the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine that saved Scout’s life, and he encourages viewers to donate what they can.

4. Rick and Morty Love Pringles

Adult Swim’s animated Rick and Morty series jumps into the land of advertising with this commercial from Pringles.

The potato crisp company touts how it is possible to stack chips of different flavors to make new and exciting flavors of your own.

5. Sam Elliot and Lil Nas X Dance for Doritos

Mostly everyone loves iconic movie star Sam Elliot, and in this commercial, he is joined by Lil Nas X, known for his hit song Old Town Road.

The two look like gunslingers about to have a showdown, and they do.

However, instead of guns, they use their best dance moves to win over a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.
