Fortnite’s latest crossover event features portals from Stranger Things
Fortnite has had massive success with their crossover events, Epic recently collaborated with Marvel and John Wick to deliver some great LTM gameplay.
Stranger Things styled portals have invaded the island of Fortnite. The portals started appearing in the game’s Mega Mall location, players will be able to walk through a portal and be transported to another section of the map.
Another small but cool feature is the consumable ice cream scattered around Mega Mall, granting +5 health. All this ice cream is probably from Scoops Ahoy located in Fortnites premier mall, similarily Scoops Ahoy is the name of the ice cream parlor inside Starcourt Mall that Steve Harrington will be working at in season 3 of Stranger Things.
Fortnite usually eases into its crossover events. Though there is no official word on the collaboration, fans can expect more Stranger Things to come in the near future.
