Fortnite players have been playing as the dog-loving assassin ‘John Wick’ for a pretty long time. Now it’s official!
Epic’s latest crossover event includes a number of features based on John Wick: Chapter 3 just ahead of its debut this weekend.
Fresh off the success of the Avengers: Endgame crossover, Fortnite’s John Wick event will give users the option to purchase a John Wick skin and gear. The John Wick character looks much more like Keanu Reeves than the previous, beloved but unofficial skin fans dubbed “John Wick.”
There’s also a new limited game mode called “Wick’s Bounty,” which also includes a number of unlockable goods! Here’s what Epic had to say about it:
The High Table has opened a new contract. It’s up to you to collect the bounty. Stay alive and collect gold tokens by eliminating the other bounty hunters. The first one to fulfill the order wins, but be careful how far ahead you get, as you will become a target for everyone else.
John Wicks house mysteriously appeared on the island last week so the new game mode is not a huge surprise. It also shows how aggressive Epic is getting regarding crossover events. So Epic, keep the crossovers coming!
