ninja abandons twitch for mixer

Fortnite PRO Ninja leaves Twitch for Mixer

What a way to kick-off season 10 of Fortnite!

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, one of the most recognized players in esports, best known for playing Fortnite. Ninja is leaving Twitch to stream exclusively on Microsoft-owned streaming platform Mixer starting August 2nd during Lollapalooza 2019.

As I look at the next step in my career, achieving bigger goals in the gaming industry with Mixer will allow me to have the perfect balance of opportunities and success. My roots as a gamer started with Halo, so working with Microsoft and coming over to Mixer felt like a natural next step,” Blevins said in a press release Thursday.

The Future of Fortnite Gamer Ninja

Ninja who has 14 million subscribers on Twitch, really picked a unique time to make his grand announcement with Fortnite beginning its 10th season.

Following his departure, Twitch updated Blevins’ channel with a list of other channels and a message saying, “The Ninja you’re looking for is in another castle.”

Currently, Ninja has over 300,000 “new” subscribers on Mixer. Any bets on how long he will take to get back to 14 million?
