For those looking for a new binge-watch, Mythic Quest might be just the thing as it launches its second season.

Apple TV+ is behind what is an intriguing comedy show for a few different reasons. It centers around a video game production company and combines a traditional workplace office sitcom with a drama about an ambitious group of characters all creating something.

This is of course not the first show of its kind. Think Silicon Valley and The IT Crowd. Of course, video games play the central driving idea of this show, and the second season kicked off on May 7th after a successful first season that launched in February 2020 with nine episodes.

Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is one of the creators of this show though the primary star is his colleague from Always Sunny, Rob McElhenney.

The cast that surrounds the egocentric McElhenney are all a bit eccentric in their own ways, and the show is a strong ensemble effort. There’s a little bit of something for everyone, especially for gamers or techies.

The show fills the void ‘Silicon Valley’ left fairly well and is almost a sort of follow-up showcasing a company at a different stage of success.

There are many in-jokes about live streaming, computer technology, and even the mundane problems of these eccentric geeks. At the heart of the show are the relationships between the employees with each other as they encounter various dilemmas.

Season 2 promises the blend of comedy and drama much like the first season. Now is also a great time to binge-watch the first season to catch up with season 2.
