Heineken has recently announced the latest offering in its wide array of beverages.

This new offering is a hard seltzer beverage called Pure Piraña, and it will be available in Mexican and New Zealand markets for the time being.

The beverage is developed with all-natural flavors and there will be a total of nine variations of these low-calorie beverages to choose from in the near future.

The new hard seltzer drink is made with a combination of pure mineral water that is carbonated and natural fruit flavors.

Each can of the hard seltzer has an alcohol level of 5%, which is the standard number for hard seltzer beverages these days.

This combination means that the drink is vegan friendly, and it will also be low in sugar, carbs, and calories.

To start, Heineken will launch Grapefruit, Red Fruit, and Peach in Mexico, and also Lime and Raspberry in New Zealand. Mexico and New Zealand both represent two of Heineken’s largest markets.

The main reason these drinks will be offered in just these two regions is so that the company can get a handle on whether or not the taste is preferred by local consumers.

Hard seltzer, a genre of alcoholic beverages that originated in North America, has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years and it seems like a smart decision for the large Dutch-based company to expand into this area of beverages. 

The launch of Pure Piraña is yet another example of Heineken’s push to offer a diverse assortment of products that meet consumers’ needs.

The Pure Piraña has just 100 calories per 330ml serving and caters to an audience that closely follows a lifestyle that is both health and fitness conscious.

Hard seltzers are considered a healthier alternative to other alcoholic beverages.

The launch of Pure Piraña gives Heineken yet another valuable item to offer eager customers and adds to its already extensive product line that includes more than 300 global and local brands.
