Since its debut in 1990, “Law & Order” has appealed to drama lovers and crime enthusiasts alike.

For two decades, the show saw tremendous success, winning countless awards and nominations.

Though “Law & Order” released its final episode in 2010, we were blessed with 20 seasons of this fantastic show.

#1 – Season 5


This 23-episode long season is a fan favorite. From the nerve-racking mysteries to the hideous murders, everything about this season intrigued audiences.

#2 – Season 6


The sixth season of “Law & Order” had viewers on the edge of their seats. Kidnappings, conspiracies, and death penalties all intertwined to create an unforgettable season of crime and chaos.

#3 – Season 10


This season was rich with whodunits. With the perfect amount of suspense and mystery, this season quickly became memorable. “Fools For Love” and “Blood Money” were two standout episodes.

“Open Season” and “Couples” are touted as two of the best episodes from this season. Within the other episodes, you’ll find instances of anti-Muslim conspiracies, militia group mayhem, and multiple murder cases.

The final season of “Law & Order” left viewers dissatisfied. Even still, teenage crime and hot-headed husbands had audiences coming back for more.

#19 – Season 12


Season 12 of “Law & Order” contains activism, animal cruelty, and spousal abuse. Since they’ve touched on these topics before, viewers felt like the writers could’ve thought outside the box.

#20 – Season 17


Finally, season 17 concludes the list. While many were underwhelmed by this season, “Deadlock,” “The Family Hour,” and “Captive” are some notable episode mentions.
