Netflix is putting together a Stand-Up Comedy Festival featuring the biggest names in comedy.

The comedy festival will go down this April and feature comedians like Dave Chappelle, Jane Fonda, Kevin Hart, Martin Lawrence, David Letterman, Ali Wong, Amy Schumer and more.

The Netflix Is a Joke Festival kicks off on April 27 and goes until May 3

There will be over 100 live shows across 20 venues. Dave Chappelle will headline with a performance at the Hollywood Bowl, while an LGBTQ+ comedy showcase led by Wanda Sykes, Hannah Gadsby, and Graham Norton will also take place.

Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Silverman, Tim Robinson, Pete Davidson, Ken Jeong, Norm Macdonald, and Bill Burr are all set to perform at the upcoming comedy festival.

“It’s our honor to transform LA for one week into the funniest place on earth,” said Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos. “This festival is a unique celebration of the art of comedy, and the role it plays in reflecting our lives and defining culture. It’s a chance for comedy lovers to come together and see their favorite artists as well as discover new ones, and for us to be able to share the electricity and excitement of the festival in Los Angeles with Netflix members around the world.”

It goes without saying that the majority of the sets are expected to be recorded for Netflix and they will drop on the streaming platform sometime later in the year.

The festival will wrap up with an event entitled “The Hall,” which will honor late comedy favorites such as George Carlin, Joan Rivers, Richard Pryor, and Robin Williams.

You can purchase tickets Friday, March 6th
