drake celebrates toronto raptors win

Besides “Superfan Nav Bhatia”, Grammy-winning rapper Drake is the Raptors biggest supporter. Now that the Raptors brought the championship to the north, the rapper is continuing to celebrate in traditional ‘Champaign Papi’ fashion.

Drake started the celebration from the now famous ‘Jurassic Park’

After the game 6 win, Steph Curry and Drake hopped on a Facetime call, where Steph congratulated Drake, “Enjoy man, that’s big time for you. You, the whole city, the whole everybody. Y’all deserve it man. Congrats.”

Drake proceeded to send his love to Kevin Durant, who’s suffering from a ruptured Achilles, and Klay Thompson, who tore his ACL during Thursday nights game. Steph still took time to ponder how Drake was already wearing a Raptors championship cap.

Drake continued his celebration by giving a post-game interview, where he almost felt like one of the players from the team. “This is poetic,” he said, continuing, “We did this. We did this off of heart, we did this off of love. We willed this into existence, we manifested this…. It’s beautiful. Look at my brothers up there celebrating.”

“You see what my hat says?” he asked. “Champions. Let’s go.”

Champagne Papi kept his victory lap rolling on Instagram Live:

To seal off the epic night Drake announced 2 new songs he is releasing,  “Omerta” and “Money In The Grave” featuring Rick Ross.
