Whew! Phase Two of New York City’s reopening plan is underway and its officially the start of summer.

If you are ready to venture out for some much needed social interaction and vitamin D, make sure you wear your mask and check out some of NYC’s open hot spots.

Restaurants are following city guidelines with hand sanitizing stations.

Here is a compiled list of 20 NYC restaurants that are now open for outdoor dining: 

Altro Paradiso (SoHo)

Sidewalk seating on Saturdays and Sundays from 1p-4p. The current menu includes burgers, sandwiches, snacks, and cocktails. They also offer take-out pickup from a curbside window to take this fabulous fare to-go. 

Black Barn Restaurant (Flat Iron)

Patio seating with daily service between 4p-10p. Take in the views of Madison Square Park while eating comfort foods such as tuna tartare or a fried chicken sandwich.

Cafe Kitsune (West Village)

Sidewalk seating with a menu blending French and Japanese influences. Featuring sandwiches, pastries, wine, coffee, and tea.  

Dante (Greenwhich Village)

Outdoor dining offering an updated menu for this Australian-Italian restaurant. 

Ernesto’s (Lower East Side)

Open Fri-Sun serving a Spanish influenced to-go menu with outdoor seating options.  

Gitano Garden of Love (SoHo)

Reopens for the summer with a fully automated, “futuristic” PPE, and tropical face masks. 

Grand Banks (Tribeca)

Accepting reservations for boat or dock seating serving their standard seafood menu. 

Khe-Yo (Tribeca)

Open with a five table “Roadway Cafe” serving Laotian inspired dishes and Beer Lao. 

Kochi (Hell’s Kitchen)

Reservations and walk-up service available at this skewer-focused eatery. Five-course tasting menu available on Fridays.

La Pecora Bianca (NoMad)

Local Italian favorite open for sidewalk seating from 11:30a-10p. 

Le Crocodile (Williamsburg)

Serving French-inspired dishes inside the Wythe Hotel gardens.

Miss Lily’s 7A (East Village)

Serving its full Jamaican inspired menu along with tropical drinks. 

North Miznon (Upper West Side)

Known for its madcap pita sandwiches is now offering six tables as an outdoor seating option. 

Nowon (East Village)

Reservations for sidewalk seating are available via Resy, the restaurant’s website, or secured through walk-ins at chef Jae Lee’s Korean inspired spot now serving alcohol and summer drinks made with Korean soju. 

The Pineapple Club (East Village)

Tropical-inspired cocktail bar and outside “Adult Lemonade Stand” featuring frozen pina coladas and pineapple old fashion’s.

Popina (Cobble Hill)

Offering patio seating for their takeout menu featuring Roman fare by the Brooklyn waterfront. 

Red Rooster (Harlem)

Patio dining for parties up to 10 featuring chef Marcus Samuelssun’s special menu including pepper escovitch and lemon-honey protein options.

Shuko (East Village)

Open Tue-Sat from 3p-8p for walk-in seating, max of two guests for Chefs Nick Kim and Jimmy Lau’s destination for elevated sushi. 

Ten Hope Outdoor Grill (Williamsburg)

2,500 square foot vine-laced patio features Mediterranean-inspired shareable plates, frozen cocktails, and spiked spritzes.  

Wayla (Lower East Side)

Backyard patio at Tom Naumsuwan’s homestyle Thai food restaurant open by reservation via Resy.
