Famous rapper Kanye West is teaming up with the famous televangelist Joel Osteen for a one of a kind tour.
The idea came to the pair of them after West did a Sunday service at the Lakewood Church that Osteen runs at, deciding to go across the country with it.
The first service will start at the famous Yankee Stadium on the second of May in 2020.
Kanye is going to handle the music for the event while Joel Osteen will be delivering the main message. It is a bit of an unusual pairing with Kanye West playing techno house music at the megachurch that Osteen runs. People have been drawn to this combination for that reason.
The two of them are going to play it by ear to see what happens. They want to see how things go at Yankee Stadium to get a sense of whether it’s worth continuing to do it elsewhere.

The next idea will be to go to the Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago in September to try out their combination of music and messaging there.

Joel Osteen has done services in the Comerica Park in Detroit before, so he has some familiarity with the area. Plus, the services that he’s done there went well, so it makes sense that he would potentially want to go back depending on the situation.
The idea for LA is likely going to revolve around doing services at Dodger Stadium since it’s the most likely place for them to do it in the area.
