huawei smartphones are the best

China-based electronics manufacturer Huawei is now the world’s second-largest phone maker after IDC and Strategy Analytics has released its latest smartphone shipment numbers.

Huawei jumped from 39.3 million phones shipped in the first quarter of 2018 to 59.1 million shipments in Q1 2019. Apple’s iPhone shipments shrunk from 52.2 million in the quarter last year to what’s estimated to be between 36 and 43 million. Samsung went from 78.2 million shipments to 71.9 million.

If Huawei didn’t experience the accelerated growth it has in the last year, many will claim the smartphone market may be entering some sort of recession. Apple and Samsungs dominance along with the high price tag has left smartphone owners no option but to hold onto their current model instead of opting for the new models that release annually.

US carriers AT&T and Verizon last week reported that smartphone upgrades among their subscribers are at record lows. Other Chinese phone makers like Xiaomi and Oppo aren’t even close to experiencing the growth of Huawei. This speaks more to the kind of innovating company that Huawei is, the company has invested heavily in its camera hardware, which has paid off with terrific performance along with being at the forefront of innovation with the release of its foldable phone.

If Huawei continues on its ambitious path, they can leave Apple and Samsung in the dust as far as sales and shipments are concerned!
