Minecraft’s latest foray is now focusing on a galaxy, far, far away. Star Wars is the latest theme within the game and is Minecraft’s newest DLC pack.

Minecraft posted about the initiative in a recent blog post saying the pack will have “a map, a skin pack, a full bespoke texture set, mobs and items reskins, UI treatment, and even a licensed soundtrack.”

This means there will be special content from the original Star Wars trilogy along with The Mandalorian.

Purchasing all of these new features is easy, gamers have to just simply open up the Marketplace wherever they decide to play Minecraft.

This Star Wars-themed map will have 12 different planets from the franchise for gamers to explore. This includes Endor, Hoth, Tatooine, and more. Each planet will of course contain droids, characters, and creatures that are popular in the Star Wars universe.

This means there will be appearances from icons like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and even Baby Yoda.

Gamers will also be able to travel between planets in what is “hyperspace” within the game via starfighters which include either an X-wing or a TIE fighter.

It would also appear that Minecraft will also have several scenes from the franchise that are widely remembered as the fight between Darth Vader and Luke on Cloud City. The Death Star will also be making an appearance.

This is not the first time that Minecraft has had Star Wars related content.

It has also put out Star Wars packs which contained mostly skins, while some fans have already created Star Wars-themed content.

This latest update is certainly the biggest foray into the legendary franchise so far and it is almost certain to attract a fair share of fans!
