fortnite season 11

Fortnite exploded on the scene a few years ago and took everyone’s consoles by storm. The takeover seemed that it would never end but after a one week delay, Fortnite season 10 ended on Sunday with a “The End” event that was to introduce season 11.

The season-ending event caused the destruction of the island and what appeared to be the game itself. It’s currently not playable as of date.

So, What exactly happened in the Fortnite Universe?

The season started with rockets launching out and creating rifts that filtered over the Dusty Depot. When everything seemed calm, then a meteor appeared. Once out of the rift, the six rockets and the meteor reappeared.

The dome shield attempt was created to protect the area, but the shield crumbled under the pressure of the meteor that finally smashed into the island, similar to the end season 4.

An explosion occurred when a suction force began pulling in everything. Only a black hole remained.

Since the ending of season 10, developer Epic has deleted over 12,000 tweets on the Fortnite Twitter account but left behind a link to a stream of the black hole. The Fortnite YouTube channel has a Livestream of the event displaying the explosion.

Another devastating blow is the fact that Fortnite is no longer streaming on Twitch.

Twitch has become hugely popular for streaming Fortnite and has more than likely been a huge generator of revenue. But players who try to play the game receive a technical difficulties error screen with no solution around it. Now, one player did find out that Epic had a little secret.

During the singularity play, players were able to enter a Konami code. The code opens up a mini-game similar to the classic 1980’s Galaga game where players can shoot Durrr Burger heads for a high score.

Will there be a Season 11?

Season 11 is still underway! Due to the Holiday weekend in the US, Columbus Day, Epic is quite known for sharing on “off days” and just might have something for those who have nothing better to do on Columbus Day. An idea that was spread across that Fortnite season 11 would begin on Thursday, October 17.

Thursdays have been a staple for the start of a season. But players hoover over the Fortnite site will have to take a look at the code on the website.

Recently, a Twitter user figured out that the event may last until 6 a.m. ET Tuesday.
